Great Family Attractions in the Arbuckle Area of Southern Oklahoma!

Experience Turner Falls Park

The "Gem of the Arbuckles", Turner Falls Park is the oldest park in Oklahoma. Many springs from the Arbuckle Mountains cascade down a seventy-seven foot fall to a natural swimming pool making this the largest waterfall in Oklahoma. Enjoy the picnic areas, natural trails, caves and 2 swimming areas.

Experience Arbuckle Lake

The Lake of the Arbuckles is a perfect place for fishing, camping, boating, skiing and bird-watching. It is also great for just kicking back and enjoying nature and cooking-out.

Experience the Chickasaw Cultural Center

The Chickasaw Cultural Center, located in Sulphur, Oklahoma, has just recently opened. This world-class destination will be devoted to the sharing and celebration of Chickasaw history and culture.  People of all ages - from around the world - will be drawn to this extraordinary place, a Smithsonian-caliber experience that will engage, entertain, deepen understanding and broaden horizons. 

Experience the Chickasaw National Recreation Area

The Chickasaw National Recreation Area is a "peaceful valley of rippling waters". Artesian springs feed the creeks and lakes. Mineral and fresh water springs are the legacy and foundation of the park.

Experience Treasure Valley Casino Gaming Center

Treasure Valley Casino Gaming Center is a Native American (Chickasaw) owned casino. Try your luck on the slot machines and table games including Black Jack and Texas Hold-em. There is also an on-site restaurant and a hotel.

Experience the Arbuckle Mountains

The Arbuckle Mountain area was once a vast ocean and the remnants are still found on the beaches and in the rock. Come and study the formations in the rocks and along side the mountains.

Experience the Arbuckle Museum

Come visit the Arbuckle Museums! The Arbuckle Museum in Davis, Oklahoma features the history of Davis and the Arbuckle area through pictures and artifacts. The Arbuckle Historical Museum in Sulphur, Oklahoma features genealogy/research books from the Murray County Courthouse as well as the history of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The Goddard Children's Museum contains natural artifacts, a hands-on native cultures area, as well as dinosaur artifacts. Other features are a fossil dig and an oil and gas exhibit.

Experience our Oklahoma Youth Camps

Because of the beauty and the choice of activities, Davis is home to several famous Oklahoma youth camps: Falls Creek Baptist Youth Camp, Camp Classen YMCA Youth Camp, Assembly of God Youth Camp, and Goddard Youth Camp. Each has a variety of outdoor activities in accordance with their particular schedules.

Experience Bedre Chocolates

Tour the Chickasaw-owned factory and purchase their well-known Bedre Chocolates at the Bedre Chocolate Factory in Davis. There is a viewing gallery where you may watch the chocolates being made.

Experience Arbuckle Mountain Bluegrass Park

Oklahoma's largest bluegrass park, the Arbuckle Mountain Bluegrass Park offers bluegrass jams and festivals throughout the year. They also have tent camping and RV camping and are open April 15 through October 31.

Experience Cross Bar Ranch

Cross Bar Ranch is the largest ATV park in Oklahoma with 2,800 acres of off-road riding in the beautiful Arbuckle Mountains! Wilderness camping is available.
